Fabric shopping

Two days ago I went shopping to get some fabric. Look at these yummy prints. I cannot wait to create with these. They are so bright and pretty. Looking at them makes me smile.

Anniversary...

Yesterday was our one year anniversary. This should be a super happy day and celebrated together, however our day was spent apart, Daniel in Iraq and me here. We talked on the phone and made promises to have a better one next year but I still am sad. I think that I am such a spoiled brat. That is the only thing I can come up with to explain why somewhere inside I hold a thought that if I want it I will get it. So was our anniversary any different...NO. I really felt like he was going to just show up...HA. I knew what I signed up for.

Now on to other things... Books.

I have been on a bit of a book kick lately.. ( I can thank Daniel for that one). The last book I read was Manhunting by Jennifer Cruise.


Pretty good book. I completed it in less than 24 hours.
